Animiyo for shelters
Here too the caveat comes before the list: Animiyo has no shelter module. There is no shelter role, no adoption management and no intake and outcome register. What does exist is a serious health and behaviour record for every animal in care, and capacity management through the boarding module of the shop workspace.
In a shelter an animal's history is almost always incomplete on arrival and is built day by day: the prophylaxis given, the weight regained, the episodes of diarrhoea, the behaviour inside and outside the kennel, who handled it, what makes it react. If that history lives on loose sheets and in the memory of volunteers, it is lost at the first shift change and starts again from scratch after a failed adoption.
The features below exist to hold it together. The health side follows weight, body condition, treatments and adherence, stools, skin and lameness using the same record owners and vets use. The behaviour side records episodes, triggers, training sessions, enrichment and an environmental welfare score. All of it can be shared read-only with an adopter or exported when the animal leaves.
What is already here today
The catalogue has no entry marked for shelters, because the product has no dedicated module. The cards below are existing features selected for their relevance to shelter work and pulled from the catalogue by identifier. Two of them, the boarding diary and the admission health check, belong to the shop workspace: they are the only mechanism that counts places night by night today, and using them means opening a shop workspace with an active licence.

How you get started
The path splits in two. The health and behaviour side needs no activation and works immediately with an ordinary account. Capacity management instead needs a shop workspace, which means registration and licence allocation.

Registration is the ordinary one. For the health and behaviour record alone nothing else is needed and no professional licence is required.

One profile per animal with species, breed, microchip and photographs. Weights and measurements are compared across several animals in one view, which matters when you have dozens in care.

For capacity, open a shop workspace
The boarding diary counts kennel availability night by night and the health check verifies requirements before admission. It is a boarding module, not a shelter one: it requires registering a shop workspace and a licence allocated by the platform.
What is not here yet
The product offers less to this audience than to the other three, and this section belongs before the feature list. None of these points is a declared roadmap item: they describe the state today.
No shelter role and no intake or outcome register
The only two professional workspaces are the veterinary practice and the shop. There is no register of arrivals and departures, and no reporting towards national animal registries or competent authorities.
No adoption management
There are no adoption applications, adopter questionnaires, contracts, foster placements or post-adoption follow-up. Read-only sharing of the profile is currently the only handover tool towards an adopter.
No volunteer, rota or donation management
There is no volunteer register, shift planning, fundraising, campaign or donation reporting. Costs are recorded in the budget module, which is designed for a private household rather than for charity accounts.
Capacity is managed with a boarding module
Kennels and stays are modelled as paid boarding, with a price list and bookings. It works for counting places and checking health requirements, but the vocabulary and fields are not those of a shelter and it needs a shop workspace with an active licence.
